The next phase of his career involved representation of Class I railroads in Michigan litigation, included Norfolk Southern Corporation, and CSX Transportation, as well as Michigan shortline railroads, including Tuscola & Saginaw Bay Railway, the Ann Arbor Railroad and Lake Superior & Ishpeming.
His most recent successes have been in the environmental field, establishing significant new precedent in the Michigan Court of Appeals under Michigan’s Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act.
